| Executive/Overview Reports: Performance Indicator Status Report |
This report has five possible graphical and tabular views of active performance targets and their contribution to the organisation: all active target statuses, status by indicator type, by categories, by perspectives, or by perspective categories. The type of view is selected through a filter after clicking on the Performance Indicator Status report link (figure 1).

Figure 1: Indicator status report filter showing reporting options.
If the default of all indicator types and all statuses is left then running the report from the filter in figure 1 will produce a composite report of all active performance targets (figure 2).

Performance Indicator Status by Type Report
If all performance indicator types remains selected in the filter then the report can be run as indicator types by either category or by perspectives (or perspective categories). Alternatively, one performance indicator type can be selected and that can be displayed by status or by category (e.g. figure 3).

Figure 3: An example of one indicator type displayed by category (below this graph the measurements for each target are broken down similar to figure 4 below)
Clicking on any of the histogram blocks shown in figure 3 will drill down into a performance indicator summary report following the same layout as that in figure 2. Blocks that don't show in the graph are simply those targets which do not have a contribution assigned to them.
Performance Indicator Status by Category Report
If the report is filtered to display status by category (against all or one indicator type) the result is a graphical and tabular breakdown of active performance targets by their category and their contribution to the whole organisation. The Escendency system comes with a default set of Performance Indicator categories that can be added to, deleted, or edited in the PI Category module of the control panel.

Figure 4: An example Performance Indicator Status by Category report.
Clicking on any of the categories on the histogram in figure 4 will drill down to a performance target summary report (the same format as the report in figure 2) for all performance targets active in that category.
Performance Indicator Status by Perspectives or Perspectives Category Report
If the report is filtered to display status by perspective (against all or one indicator type) or perspective categories (both reports have the same layout) the result is a graphical and tabular breakdown of active performance targets by their perspectives and their contribution to the whole organisation (figure 5). The Escendency system comes with a default set of Perspectives that can be added to, deleted, or edited in the Scorecard Perspective module of the control panel. Perspective Categories have to be added by the organisation.

Figure 5: An example Performance Indicator Status by Perspective report
Clicking on any of the categories on the histogram in figure 5 will drill down to a performance target summary report (the same format as the report in figure 2) for all performance targets active in that perspective.
